I enjoyed my lunch here on a trip to city hall. the line was not as long as i have always read. i got the small chopped beaf sand. which was just the right size. you cant see much difference between it and the large for a dollar more. nice counter persons. they have mindy lou pies for dessert and chips for add on's.

The Waffle House of the BBQ industry.
I have been wanting to come here for years and I can finally say I made it and glad I did.
The issue is their limited hours Monday through Friday 10:30 am to 3:45 pm with no website .
You all know you wish you owned a business that had those hours
So I had a day off during the week and found a reason to tell my wife we needed to go to ft. worth so I could just happen to be near this place and said hey lets try this place (she is always game).
They had a line to the door (though that is not that long) and the service was great so the line went quick.
Some people would say it is cozy inside but I would just say it is small, so very limited seating and with the place being so small everyone can see what you ordered and hear your conversation if you chose to sit inside. I did see some seating outside to the right of the building as well, but I would say you are better off or at least I would be to get it to go.
Ok so the waffle house comment, Baileys reminds me of the waffle house, good but not great.
So if you do stop by go in with that in mind and you will be fine. -

I was at the federal building for an all day seminar and I couldn't resist eating lunch here at this historic hole-in-the-wall. Super quick and satisfying. I had the daily special which was spicy pork or chopped brisket sandwich, chips and can of soda for $7.50. I had pork and upgraded to slaw instead of chips for $.50, good stuff. Would recommend and will return.

I usually get the baked potato with chopped beef & extra sauce. It's always excellent. The sauce is thin but has a good flavor. Go early for the potato as they sometimes run out!
The location is small & as many do I get my order to go. The staff is friendly & jokes with us when we come in to order. Overall a great lunch spot if you are downtown. -

Selected Bailey's Barbeque for a quick lunch, since it was close to the Federal Courthouse! It's a cute little red building surrounded by larger ones! I had the chopped beef sandwich and while it didn't taste bad, I was bothered by the texture of the meat! There was a lot of meat on the sandwich, but it was too mushy for me! The baked potatoes looked amazing! The staff were friendly and the service was quick!
